Theme: Concept Pages

Ryan and I thought it might be fun to take some of the items from the Legacy AET Items list and each sketch a mock-up index page or two.

Benefits of this exercise may include: actual item art, page layout ideas, sore thumbs sticking out, less work later.

Playing around...

Here is an idea that I have been playing with for the last few weeks.  Its very rough and still needs some work, but its coming along nicely.

Finally got around to doing something new... Got a few good skill ideas from Final Fantasy Tactics too, actually... More on that later.

Just bought me a copy and this is my first experiment... not exactly what I was shooting for, but giving the dude a sword makes it more tolerable.

THAT DOES NOT COMPUTE

A week late, a dollar short, and clawing it's way up the slopes of the uncanny valley, here's my contribution.

Also, I hate the drawing of hair. In any form. From a well. From the J-trap in the bathtub. Pretty much anywhere. My pencil is always too big for it and my patience is always too small, stretched taught like a flying squirrel's armpits so as to make it difficult not to emote with wooden and graphitic projectiles.

To pencil marks on walls everywhere, and may you never have them!
